Installing Knoppix to hard drive glitch
 

Hi all,

I finally figured out how to install Knoppix to the hard disk on my desktop PC. Unfortunately, when I did, it lost its network connection to the internet that it had when it was running from the CD-ROM drive. How do I re-establish the connection or settings it had when it was running from the CD-ROM drive. Any help anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated. By the way; I have broadband "cable" internet service that attachets to my PC via a standard ethernet cable.

(I shudder to think what other perfect settings I lost by installing it to my hard drive!).

What in the world are "majik scripts" and how do I use them?

I call em majic coz they seem to work like that
try the my-pppoeconf.bash script and see what happens
oh how do you use em
save the file cd to where it is
then type ./my-pppoeconf.bash
