installing kmldonkey in SuSE problems

Im Trying to install kmldonkey in Suse and im on the init 3 level and when i try to run it its giving me a error that says "no acceptable c compiler found in $PATH"

Does this mean i dont have the correct QT lib cause it says i have qt3 and i just wanna get a p2p program running and its driving me nuts!!

im also having this problem with just the basic core program of mldonkey.

Hello again tears....

Did you install a C compiler?

prolly not..... you need gcc and most likely cpp ......check yast for the gcc and cpp will probably ask you to install some additional libraries as well...say yes.

btw...did u get your hard drive mounted finally?

Hey all! (new here),

I'm having the same problem in YaST as well as in bash. I have compilers ...but sadly no P2P app yet I've been searching for days and this is the first I've seen the topic yet.
