I have an issue which I cannot run Kali Linux on a VPS which runs KVM. I was wondering have you ever tried that? It stuck on the first boot.
I have tried with Virtio and without Virtio driver.
Distribution: Currently: OpenMandriva. Previously: openSUSE, PCLinuxOS, CentOS, among others over the years.

Have you read the Kali Linux sticky thread at the top of this very forum ? Do you understand what Kali Linux is intended for?
I'd really suggest you do read the sticky thread I mentioned and choose a different distribution. It also always helps a lot to actually read it's own website to begin with, as in, before you download and try to install Kali.
I would venture to say that few, or no members may have tried to run it in the configuration you've described.
Meanwhile, if there's an ultimate goal you wish to attain, perhaps your fellow members can offer some alternatives, if we knew better what your goals are for this effort.
Not to encourage the OP, but at work ee run a cli only kali server so our testers can ssh into it and appear to come from a single, authorized pen test source. I did not have any involvement on setting it up though - was before my time. No gui however as it's not needed for our business case.

I am installing Kali Linux on behalf of a customer. I have no clue about it, to be honest. I know it is for security testings. Is it something VPS providers allows to do?
Would you not think that asking the VPS provider concerned would be a far better way of answering that, as opposed to a Linux forum ?
I have asked the VPS provider but they had no clue. They have replied something general 'As long as our services used for legal usage and there are no abuse complaints about it then it should be right'. That is why I thought to asked experienced Linux users like yourself.

Ask them your questions...
I had a look at their documentation before I write it here but there was nothing related to the problem I am having with the distro. I have joined their forums 2 weeks ago and started a thread but never become visible. Just said it will be moderated and approved. Tried to contact them but still no luck. Also not even able to reply to any of the threads. That is why I have asked here. and yes I have searched before but did not find any results for the same problem on a VM.
I have no experience with VSP or KVM. I've only used Kali on a laptop and on a server via SSH. SO, I did a quick google and found a youtube video - is this even remotely what you are looking for?
