Installing IPcop on VMware on Mac host


Installing IPcop on vmware on Mac host. Presently running Ubuntu, Kali, and Win8 vms . What Linux operating should I choose for the IPcop vm?

IPCop was originally built using LFS to make it as lean as possible and version 2.1.5 is based on kernel 3.4 so if VMware supports it (haven't used it in a while) choose "generic 3.x" or else "generic 2.6".
