Installing icons in KDE
Hi,
I downloaded some icons for KDE (comic icons, crystal icons, steel icons) and am trying to install them.
When I go into the KDE control panel, look n feel, icons, and go to install a new theme (choosing the zipped archive as the theme file), nothing happens EXCEPT for the lush icon set. That one appeared below the KDE high color theme, but the others refuse to appear, and there is no error message either...
Am I doing somethign wrong?

Was there any documentation that came with the Icon sets, or on the page where you got them from? Did you try looking inside the tarballs to see if there was a README or something related to it like an INSTALL file?
Also, are the icons you downloaded actually for your version of KDE, IIRC older versions of icons for older versions of KDE don't necessarily work with newer versions of KDE.
Cool

Yeah, I got it working to upgrading to KDE 3.1.
If your looking for icons, mouse pointers, themes, karamba stuff (which is reall cool!), or anything else visually related to KDE, check out www.kdelook.org
