Hey, Im running MD 9.1 and I want to install some Icons. I headed to KDElook, and downloaded the, "Nuvola Icon Set." Now, I have all sorts of folders with different sizes and such, and the readme doesnt have any useful information. When I go to the, "Control Center" and click on, "Look and Feel" and then Add a new icon theme, i don't know what file to select. Please help a newb in need.
On my computer, this file is stored in /home/matt/download.
Open the KDE control center. Under "Look and Feel" then "Icons" click on "Install New Theme" button. Click on the folder button to select the nuvola-0.2.5dave.tar.gz file. Nuvola will then be imported into your list of themes. Select it and apply.
You don't need to unpack the *tar.gz file. If you do, you will have all the icons in directories as you describe.
I followed the instructions given on the URL and also the ones given here, but when I try it I get an error message "The file is not a valid icon theme archive!".
