i have installed it from rpm wirth --nodeps and apt still always finds thew lost dependencies when doing an apt-get upgrade and still tells me to run apt-get -f upgrade and removes it.

I've installed Gyach and ayttm and both seem to have this issue. Under yahoo I can view other peoples webcams but they can't view mine. They say that a message pops up for them saying "webcam not available" or some such. The webcam is certainly working at my end, and I've opened up ports 5050 and 5100 in my firewall. I'm interested to know what the issue could be.

This is the second time I've used gyach, i forget what the last version was but now im using verion 1.0.6

I installed pygtk and so on but it kept saying it wasn't there so i did the -force -nodeps and now it loads. I have trouble with gyach 'freezing' when doing something (like opening the setup) and it usually crashes within 10 minutes of being open. Last time (other version) did this as well but not nearly as often.

I tried disabling the stuff i dont need (voice chat, web cam support, html support, etc, etc) but it still acts the same. Ima try to install an older version to see if it works ne better since i dont need the web cam support and what not.

The main reason im using gyach is because the `ignore` feature in gaim doesnt work whatsoever for me (ver 1.1.2)

Mandrake 10 CE w/ Gyach 1.0.6

good luck

Gyach random crashes

Earlier in this thread there is a post for a Mandrake 10.1 user who turned off animated smileys and NO MORE CRASHES. I am running Fedora Core 3 and turned off animated smileys and the CRASHING STOPPED !
Thank You whoever figured that out
