installing gxzine


i have just installed gzine but I cannot get it to show any playback,do I need a tv card??

Only if you want to watch TV. Do you have video codecs installed? You can get binary codecs from here, unpack the file you downloaded so the codecs reside in /usr/lib/codecs and then tell gxine where to find them (you'll probably need to change the experience level to "Master of the known universe" to get the option to give the path to the codecs).
