Installing GOK under Mandriva 10.1

I need some assistance in installing GOK (An onscreen keyboard available at under Mandriva 10.1
Nothing I can think of seems to be working, but alas I'm a newbie to Linux so I'm likely missing the obvious.

Hopefully someone might be willing to walk me through the install.

I've perused the help files that come with the application as well as the website itself, but neither have yielded any working answers.

My best guess right now is that I'm supposed to type ./configure in the terminal to create the makefile, then type make install.
./configure would appear to work properly but make install merely gives a response of "*** No rule to make target `install'. Stop."

Everything I can find would seem ti indicate the above should work, but it isn't nor has any of my other attempts to discover some way to install it.
