Installing games using wine..

Hey all, just recently got back into using linux.. (Was never any good).
*Following a tut*

I want to install WorldofWarcraft, What i have done..

*Installed Wine
*Copied the WoW dvd contents to a folder on the destop named WoW.

I then directed the terminal to the folder, and tried running the cmd: wine installer.exe. & i get a MODULE NOT FOUND error.

After looking in the wine directory, i cannot find a file named installer either.

If anyone could direct me any further i would be very grateful, im hoping i have just missed a step or the cmd line has changed.

Thanks,
Ryan

Have you seen the Wine/WOW wiki page yet? It should have all the info you need to set it up.

Also take a look at the wine appdb for any recent comments.

(Caveat: I'm not a gamer, and never touched WOW myself, so don't ask me for any detailed help.)

I use cedega which is based on wine. I usualy just mount the cd or DVD then go to that directory and run 'cedega setup.exe' is there an installer.exe on the WoW DVD? if not try running whatever you would run off that cd in windows to install WoW with wine.
