I had to do this a couple of weeks ago. libgtkspell was the only one I had to find, it came from came from mozilla-nss-0.9.9-12.7.3 - I reckon this came from redhat CDs - also from mozilla-nss-0.9.9-12.7.3 is from tk-8.3.3-67 - redhat CDs

On Linux, you format a floppy with "fdformat /dev/fd0XXX" not "format a:" (I know you didn't ask, but I looked at the snapshot didn't I?)

I had the same problem with Gaim.

First I uninstalled the old gaim using the 'add/remove application' facility. This is because of the interdependencies on the RH desktop and being a newbe I am a little daunted at trying to update at the command line.

Then downloaded gtkspell-2.0.4-fr3.i386.rpm and rpm'd it at the command line.

Then downloaded gaim-0.72-1rh9.i386.rpm and rpm'd it to.

Worked no problem for the MSN protocol and I like it better than the windows MSN client cos it is more customisable by far.

(Best make sure you have installed all the Mozzila stuff from the RH cd's to be on the safe side)

Keep in mind that there are a gazillion rpms on each of the RedHat cds. Find yourself the RPMS directory on each and look in there for the librarys you need. If no go, try and see if that helps any.
