if you must then use adobe's "yum"
and install adobe's repo
as per the instructions on the adobe page

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

cent is a os that YOU support your self
it is a free rebuild of the not free RHEL
you buy the red hat tech support

so Cent and ScientificLinux and clearOS assume that you already KNOW the ins and outs of a red hat system
as such there is not all that much documentation
because cent assumes that you already have RHEL system administration experience

you can port the very well documented fedora documentation OVER TO CentOS
for example the fedora docs on flash
http://www.mjmwired.net/resources/mj...f16.html#flash
are basically the same for centos

you also might want to study the CentOS wiki

http://wiki.centos.org/FrontPage
-- forum --
http://centos.org/modules/newbb/

and the red hat official documentation

https://access.redhat.com/knowledge/...erprise_Linux/
