installing Fedora workstation on MS virtual pc
 

Hi there,
Please someone help me with resolving.
Using Microsoft Virtual PC 2004, I installed fedora core workstation.Installation took about 1.5-2 hours.
And after that it does not go anywhere. Fedora starting and giving me either
INIT: Id "3" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
sometimes
INIT: Id "2" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
sometimes
INIT: Id "6" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
sometimes
(none) login:
more often last one
Any help, ideas, suggestions.. please...

Do you get the same issue using VmWare?


You can download ready made Fedora Code 5 virtual images and run them using VmWare player. It is a more mature product than Virtual PC.

Got it installed. Defenately much more professional software.
Another issue which I have now it is passing user name & password.
I made very easy both but can not go throu that part.
Is there any way to reset name and password.
People please help :scratch: :)
