Installing fedora iso to new drive in windows...

I've downloaded the ISO for Fedora Core 1 (Yarrow) and intend to install it on a separate drive from Windows 2000. My question is, is it required that I burn it to CD first to install it or is there an installer I can use in the extracted ISO files while Windows 2000 is open & active? I looked through the files & couldn't find anything that quite fit the description of installer. Thanks to everyone who can give me some input.

Erm, I'm probably wrong about this, but as I understand it, the ISO has to be burned to disc.

But, I also understand that if you can get the bootable images of the floppy and you've got net access, then you can do a network install.

Personally, I normally just burn the iso's and boot/install from there (as I intend to do with the gentoo iso's that I downloaded yesterday).

You can not install linux with windows running. The easiest method would be to burn a CD, reset the BIOS to boot from CDROM if necessary and then boot the CD. You can not drag and drop the ISO file to create the CD. Somewhere I thought I saw an update... If you do not Nero or Roxio EZ CD creator then search the web for an application that can create CDs from an ISO file.

That's not terribly surprising. I wasn't expecting to find out that I could, but thought I'd ask anyway. Thanks for replying guys.
