Installing Fedora 11
 

I have downloaded the ISO and have burnt it to a CD.

I currently have Windows XP installed on this laptop, and I want to format and install Fedora 11 on it.

However, when I start my computer and boot from CD (set as first object to be booted) (I can hear the CD spin), it's as though it doesn't pick up Fedora 11 boot and then it starts loading Windows.

Is there anything that I am doing incorrectly?

How did you burn the iso to disk? If you load the CD in windows, do you see one file (the iso) or several?

Did you confirm the integrity of the download (as per instructions on the Fedora download site)
