Hi,
I've try using that method but the system prompt me that I do not have enough space, but I've already free 70gb of my D: using diskmgmt (Vista). |
Better still download the parted magic live cd and do your resizing and partition of the free space.
Make a swap partition of 2 GB size and two other partitions of size 20 GB (for root partition, use ext3) and 48 GB (XFS filesystem for /home) |
If you are a NEW Linux user i would NOT RECOMMEND installing Fedora as your FIRST linux install.Do to the VERY fast development of fedora it VERY often will require fixing
For your FIRST install of Linux i would install Ubuntu it is designed to be user friendly to the new person migrating from MS Windows . |
