the windows drivers are for windows. For DSL you need to use linux driver that you can install from repositories. This requires an internet connection. Do you have any or wireless is your only access to the net?

Which adapter you have? Linux kernel has support for some adapters in it. Others needs madwifi. And some can use the Windows drivers with Ndiswrapper.

Each option is different so could you post which adapter you have so we can help you further.

drivers

the wireless lan adapter is safecom swlct-54125.hope this helps as i like linux, but iam losing patience..lol.

Ok, the adapter should work with Linux by using the Win2000 drivers with NDiswrapper.

Install NDiswrapper and follow it's instructions and then get the Win2000 drivers.
