installing drivers

I have a brother printer and have access to the linux drivers for it but have no idea how to install them.

What linux distro are you using? And what format are the files you have downloaded?

I am using ubuntu 13.04 and the files are .deb & .rpm

by double clicking on the .deb file should prompt you to install them, you must provide a password to install them though.

.rpm are no good in Ubuntu so dont try to double click on them, they would be good if you have a machine running Fedora or RedHat.
