installing downloads

How do I install downloaded fIles in fedora 12. For example fLASH_10?

Did you download a package for Fedora, or just an archive with the binary in it? What is the extention on the file you downloaded?

Welcome to LQ.

Adding the Adobe flashplayer repo :
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/tha...inux_%28YUM%29

> > adobe-release-i386-1.0-1.noarch.rpm
1) su
2) rpm -Uvh adobe-release-i386-1.0-1.noarch.rpm
3) yum install flash-plugin

Makes it a lot easier to get the updates.

I'm sorry, but I don't see an answer to dilbertsimpson's request in the link you gave. The link goes to a page of links, but nothing that seems specific to flash. I looked in the areas that I thought were relevant, but found nothing on flash.

Can you narrow it down for us?

Thanks.

Frank.

I agree with Frank616 I found nothing in the link of what the OP needs.

To OP HERE this may help with flash.
