actually iam attempting to install this. here are my tools (based on the site's requirements )
digikam-0.9.2
and the items stated here :
http://www.digikam.org/?q=download/dependencies
will this do?
btw im using VL and slack 12.0 so that is where i plan to install digikam

Is probably best to actually try to install and ./configure will let you know if you have any missing dependencies and also take a look at the dependencies listed here.
