Installing Debian r4 for amd64
 

Hello everyone!

I've downloaded two of the 8 cds from debian, I burned them and then when I try to boot from the first of this, it doesn't find it! Does anybody fall in the same problem , or am I a poor fool...?

What do you mean? Please, explain in detail... error message? boot state? etc.

It bypass the boot from cd rom and it started to boot form HD. I also try to disable all the devices but the cd rom, but it seems like the cd I downloaded doesn't work...

try downloading the first CD again, or another burning method/software to a CD-RW and try to boot from the CD.
As an alternative you can try the boot floopies if you have any floppy drive in your system.
