Installing D-Link DWL-520+ on Fedora Core 2
 
how do you install a dlink wireless card on a fedora core 2? sumhow my computer does not have iwconfig, ifconfig, modprobe, and pretty much anything that any of the sites that are online ask for. i tried downloading them and installing them but they dont work. i did a complete install when i was installing Fedora Core 2. Plz Help

i have the same thing i trype modprobe and i get bash: modprobe: command not found
back why?

yes i have already tried ndiswrapper as well and it just doesnt install correctly . i m sorry but there must be another distro of linux taht is easier to handle than this one. it just doesnt install half of the stuff that i need to do anything on the networks. plz send me another reply with another alternative

btw the card that i have is the D-Link DWL 520+

modprobe in fedora core 2 is actually in the /sbin directory. so instead of just typing 'modprobe [whatever]' type '/sbin/modprobe [whatever]'
