Installing CUPS
 

I forgot to install cups on my slackware 10.2 box during the installation. now i need to install it. how do i do this without installing linux from scratch.

download the package and install it ?

One thing I use on my box is there is a package called swaret, and basically after you download and install it, you can open a terminal and type something like :

swaret --install cups

which is an example of how easy it is to use that tool. So you can try a program like that which will benefit you now, and in the future for other installations, or just go get the packages for cups and install them.
