CentOS is telling you it cannot find a CDROM drive.
This mobo uses a marvell pata chipset.
At the boot: prompt, try adding:
linux all-generic-ide irqpoll pci=nommconf noapic nolapic
If the bios has an option to emulate legacy IDE, use it.

Try a very recent distro (AFAIK CentOS leans toward the stability and regularity of a commercial distro over the more bleeding-edginess of the free ones.) ... fedora8, Mandriva2007, Ubuntu 7.10 etc.
