installing cadega

this will be the first thing i will have ever installed..so i have no idea how to

i downloaded from firefox and presed open like i did in wiondows and nothin happend just a text box with binary in it so

heres what i have

/PATH_TO_INSTALLATION/.cedega_timedemo

ok i duno where to put this or what to put for
/PATH_TO_INSTALLATION/

help :-D ?

What type of file did you download? Was it a .tar.gz file?

Before I reapeat a lot of information that other people have already listed...

Read the sticky on the top of this forum. The second link in it gives a good idea of how to install stuff.

Open up a console, go to the directiory where your cedege timedemo is downloaded and type: ./cedega_timedemo_installer (you shold do this as root!!!!) if that doasen´t work try this link I think it´s a good idea to read always the howtoos: http://downloads.transgaming.com/fil...emo_howto.html
