installing .bin files
I am running red-hat 9.0
I have downloaded java source file (j2sdk-1_4_2_01-linux-i586-rpm.bin) and I'm trying to install it. I have double clicked the icon and selected Run In Terminal. I then agreed to license conditions and it shut down. I assumed it had installed but it hasn't because when I enter rpm -q j2sdk....etc. it tells me it isn't installed Anyone got any ideas? |
Update: ok I've figured the problem, it says
'install.sfx7516' : No such file or directory Anyone know why this is? |
You may need to redownload the java file incase it has gotten currupt. I would say retry it after you have redone that and it should be fine.
