Installing apache in Mandrake10 *Yipes!*


Hey!
I at the moment trying to installing apache httpd-2.0.52.tar.gz in Mandrake10
I have extracted the files, using the cowbox user manual:
cowbox.coe.uky.edu/stu/linux/apache/

But I started getting problems when installing with the command:
./configure --prefix=/home/httpd --enable-module=so

Linux gave me an error message:
configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH
See `config.log' for more details.
configure failed for srclib/apr

I'm stucked and I really need help! And yeah I know I'm a

I saw in the config.log file to see if some of the information in the file were to some use for me, but I'm still stucked and don't know what to do.

But I do think I know what the problem may be, but I have no idea of how to fix it. It seems to me that there were to much information the installation file didn't get, but still needs to complete the installation:

[root@vvs-2ita-02 httpd-2.0.52]# ./configure --prefix=/home/httpd --enable-modul
e=so

checking for working mkdir -p... yes
checking build system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu
checking host system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu
checking target system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu

As you see I dont have gcc, cc and no.

just find and install from RPMs
otherwise install gcc
