giovannym LQ Newbie Registered: Jun 2004 Location: Fontana, California Distribution: RHEL Posts: 22 Rep:	installing ant is asking for jaxp_parser_impl I'm a newbie here with a question that hopefully someone might be able to help me out with. I'm running red hat 9 and In the process of trying to install tomcat I found out I had to install ant before I could proceed because of dependency issues. Now, I'm currently trying to install ant. I get the following output when I run the RPM command. rpm -Uvh ant-1.5.4-2jpp.noarch.rpm error: Failed dependencies: jaxp_parser_impl is needed by ant-1.5.4-2jpp jpackage-utils >= 0:1.5 is needed by ant-1.5.4-2jpp I have been looking for the file jaxp_parser_impl everywhere, but no luck. Does anyone know where I can locate any rpm's with these files?
