Installing a .rpm file - how-to needed
Afraid I'm a mac and win user. I've set up Suse 9.1 and I'm having a little trouble with Samba and networking to my mac (iBook g4). Elsewhere on the forum a program called smb4k was suggested, so I downloaded the file (called smb4k-0.4.1a-1.i386.rpm).
What do I do with it now? I haven't a clue as to how to install it. Double-clicking it asks me to search for an app to open it with, and I can't find one. The software install part of YAST can't open it either.
All answers in small words of one syllable or less please, and especially nothing like 'make' 'configure' 'sudo' etc (see first sentence)......
