Hello everyone,

I've been trying to install a RPM and got error that MD5 is expected is != than...... I tried the option --nomd5 then I got digest error... "can not be installed" and so on and so forth.... with a new error every time I try.
I have doubts about the my DVD device I've been noticed that my DVD device is not responding very well and makes the rpm command crash. My question is this. If I copy the rpm file in to my hard drive, will the rpm will install regardless where rpm file is locate it? like looking for a specific file in the DVD during the installation.

never install an rpm if the md5 doesnt match,
a bad md5 means that the file was damaged dureing download, or has been tampered with, and could contain a payload.

re-download the package from a trusted source.
