chmod 777 limewire.bin

Also see here:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...light=LimeWire

The .bin file IS the installer. the command above will make the file executable and you run by placing a ./ in front of the filename, but you need to have JAVA installed and placed into your path first. The link above should show you how.

Cool

I'm going to speak for Acid here: "Don't use Limewire. Get or use Gnutella !" http://gtk-gnutella.sourceforge.net/

ha ha ha, cool. Setup is Much easier (because of JAVA) on gtk-gnutella, but other than that, I do not agree with the good arguments for gnutella.

But I do suggest to anyone trying Limewire, to also try out gtk and many other gnutella clients to find the one that fits you best.

Cool

Guntilla

I will never use Guntilla because every time you turn around someone hacks into the Guntilla network and backs into peoples machine the Guntilla network is unsecured.

I am guessing that's a typo, did you mean gnutella? If so, Limewire uses the gnutella network. Just and FYI
