installing a module

I originally had a virtual machine that I recently have tried to move to a physical machine, the OS is Redhat ES 4. I'm have succesfully moved to to the physical machine but I need drivers to be installed for it to work on the new machine. I have followed the commands for fixing it to boot properly here

but I can't seem to get the cciss module to install, I must be doing something wrong but i'm not sure what... can somebody explain to me how to install the cciss module to a machine properly? I appreciate it thanks in advance.

And for us to be actually able to help you .... at which stage of that
process are you encountering which error? A hand-waving "I can't seem to"
gives no one any indication as to what the problem may be ...
