Welcome to LinuxQuestions.org. Everyone starts as a newbie (and not just with Linux). Many of the Canon inageCLASS models are supported by the Canon UFRII driver. Which distribution are you using? Have you been following any particular instructions/guides yet?

If you'd like help, you're going to need to read the replies and answer the questions asked.

Did you manage to find the driver package?
Canon Asia (UFR II/UFRII LT Printer Driver for Linux V3.40)....
http://support-asia.canon-asia.com/c...100270810.html
The tarball (archive package) needs to be unpacked first. There is an installer script (install.sh) that is suitable for some distros. There are DEB and RPM packages supplied (as well as source files). It's not clear from your comments how far you have got with this though.
