installed wireless driver
I downloaded and installed the driver for my D-LINK WIRELESS N NANO USB adapter DWA-131. I still cannot get on the internet with it.Does anyone know how to find the Wireless drivers on my MSI U135DX notebook the original operating system was Windows7 starter which I got rid of and installed Ubuntu 10.04 lts, everything works perfectly except for the wireless connection, I can get on the internet using an USB ethernet adapter but would like to use wireless as well,any help really appreciated .

From a quick Google search it appears it has an Atheros Chipset which is supported by Linux.... What does iwconfig show?

You have wireless adapter;If you refer link in post no.#3,you will get connected!

Using wicd
I'm using WICD as my network manager will that make a difference, should I return to Ubuntu's network manager.

Try to follow what's mentioned in the guide.Why not referring the guide.Give it a try.
