Set up easy urpmi, trying to install Mplayer from command line, now I get this error.

Trying to install Mplayer from easy urpmi sources below and i get these errors. Why is this and how do I fix it? I am trying to install from easy urpmi to get the latest version of Mplayer so that I can get the Mozilla embedded media thing sqaured away. I just recently reinstalled linux due to the fact that I couldn't get into my webct class to do a test on time so now I am back at t he drawing board just trying to do everything righ this time. Anyways, any help is greatly appreciated. This has happened twice already. I tried to change the easy urpmi sources again and I still get this error. Someone on here said that installing Mplayer this way is the best way because you get all the latest codecs and such all from easy urpmi.

You may want to update your urpmi database

Forgot to mention, everytime I install Mplayer from source, it never works for me. The only time installing Mplayer works for me is when I install it from my Mandrake cd's. But doing it that way installs an old version which doen't play online embedded video (which is what i want).

I think I solved my problems. What I did was copy and paste each thing it said it needed into google and it took me to rpmsearch.com and I downloaded and installed each peice individually and I installed the Mplayer one last. Now i'm going to try to install mplayerplugin to see if I can get the codecs right. Will be back in a moment...

Okay, I sucessfully installed the mplayerplugin file and tested it with some movie trailers. It works. I get a screen that says mplayerplugin loadin yada yada then the video plays. Okay, previous to installing the mplayer, I was under the impression from some other threads on here that youmust have installed the codecs into /usr/lib/win32 correct? Okay, so I don't have problems in the future, how do I make sure that the mplayer and mplayerplugin is looking to that directory for codecs? Also, how can I get an icon on the desktop for mplayer? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

BTW-- I used RPM Seacrh.com to find all my stuff for mplayer because I kept getting errors when trying to install it from urpmi on the command line after setting up easy urpmi.
