Installed Mepis. Cant Get Online

Hi there,

I just installed Mepis to my HD and now i cant get online.
I was able to get online fine using the cdlive version.

Help

Can you add some more details? How do you access the internet? What exactly isn't working? What error messages do you get?

This Mepis thread is a couple of years old, but I think it has some good suggestions in it.

Also, during the boot up, press Esc or F2 (whatever it is that gets you in verbose mode--where all sorts of text fly up the screen instead of just a pyramid with a horizontal bar). Make a note of anything that "fails" during the boot up process. Compare this with when you boot from the live CD.
