Hi,

I am using Mandrake 10.1 and I have installed GCC and G++ packages and everything seems to be ok. mmm, when I try to compile packages it shows me"

checking how to run the C++ preprocessor... /lib/cpp
configure: error: C++ preprocessor "/lib/cpp" fails sanity check
See `config.log' for more details.
"

and I really don't know what the problem is. It is driving me crazy. Somebody please help me!!!

Thanks alot

mmm, I did. The new probelm regarding this is that, now I get :
"
checking dependency style of ... none
configure: error: conditional "HAVE_VLDXVMC" was never defined.
Usually this means the macro was only invoked conditionally.
"

I have no idea what this means and I don't know how to fix this problem. I was trying to install XINE.

Thanks for your help,

A.R.N.
