Installed Fedora and now everything is black
 

Hello everyone, im new to all this linux since ive been a windoze user most of my life. here is my problem, I have just installed Fedora Core 4 on my laptop, when I finished the installation and was ready to see the wonderfull world of Fedora I got nothing but black screen, it occurs after it boots everything up and ask for username and password then it goes black. So if a Linux Pro out there knows what I might need to do please help me :)

Ohh yearh sorry of course I should have mentioned my hardware.
Its a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo-A laptop
AMD 1.66GHZ 2000+
640MB RAM
ATI Radeon IGP 320M

hope it helps or else tell me what you wanna know

You have not mentioned what video driver chip is installed in your laptop
(something like ATI Radeon, Nvidia, VIA etc etc..)

You can also try pressing ctrl+alt+the pluskey once if nothing press again(like you always do the ctrl+alt+del in doze)

and be more specific about your Hardware.
