installed envyng

i instaled envyng to open a file it says the changes where applied cant find envy though ???

Can you be a little more specific?

I take it you've installed envyng using something to this effect:
sudo apt-get install envyng-gtk
And that it's not in the Ubuntu menus.

If that's right, you can run it by opening the terminal and typing:
sudo envyng -t
