Wink Installed DSL and can't seem to connect using 56k modem

Hello, I've installed Damn Small Linux a few hours ago. Everything went well until I tried to connect via dial-up. I was wondering what I am doing wrong, The config tool worked fine and I've checked it over and over again, I can't seem to deduce why it won't dial...any help would be kickass for a first time user, sick of windows.
