Installed Debian, with Lilo instead of Grub now I can't load Windoze
Hi, I just recently installed Debian, but during the install when it offered to give me Grub, It only showed the other OS as Vista/longhorn, while I have the windows seven beta on there too. So I tried Lilo to see if that would work, but that just only showed Debian, so now I am trapped (joyfully) Debian but I would really like some one to show me how to install Grub or Lilo so that I can acess all three OS's

I'd forget LILO and stick with GRUB. So are you saying that before you installed Debian that your machine could dual-boot Vista or Windows 7 beta?
I think you just need to tell GRUB where to find Windows 7 boot info. I think if you searched for info on dual boot of Vista and Linux using Grub, you should find a procedure that you can also use for Windows 7. |
install grub with just debian and vista then post your /boot/grub/menu.lst .......then I mite be abell to tell you how to edit it. :)
