installed centos 5
dear
I now only installed centos 5 in my system, but the movie player is not working, when I am inserting disc it showing the error "Totem cannot play this type of media (DVD) because you do not have the appropriate plugins to handle it.
Please install the necessary plugins and restart Totem to be able to play this media." I am sure that iam missing some plugins, what is that and what can I do?

You need to install libdvdcss, but I still never got totem to play encrypted dvds to play, I think because CentOS used the gnome version, not the xine version. As I said, not entirely sure.
However, I don't like totem a lot, so I gave up and installed vlc which works just fine.
Someone else may know how to fix totem
