Installed All software updates, graphics are now dead

Hello....My RH9.0 box was running perfect for the longest time, then today I did the Software Update and installed everything it suggested. When I rebooted, I get the graphical login screen (I'm using Ximian Desktop2). then when I login, my backround comes up, then just random graphical "blips" here and there, with some boxes that look like they should contain error messages but don't....No toolbars, no menus, etc...Is there a way to fix this? Thanks.

Are you using the nVidia drivers? If so, there was probably a kernel update.
