installation tips

i want to install CD3 and CD4 of the FC4 linux....these CD's contains additional packages.

How do i install those ?

probily thses CD's dont have auto-run....because when i inserted into DVD-ROM/CD-ROM it told that there is no auto run file.

and so it could not start it.

is there any other way to install the packages of CD3 and CD4 ?

mount the drive, navigate the cd, use rpm to install?

but there are so many rpm's you mean i would type so many times to install those softwares.....boring work!

cant i run all the rpm's at one go ?


can thse all rpm be installed with one command only ?

Navigate to the directory with the RPMs and do:

rpm -ivh *.rpm
