Question Installation Software

Hi!

I just installed Linux on my visual PC, to try out a new OS, b/c I am getting pretty annoyed by Win XP and so on.

Well, the problem is, that when I want to install I get to the point
Installation Settings.
Partitioning is right
but then there is this stuff with the Software, I just get the message
No catalog found at '...'

And I don't have any idea since I couldn't find a solution on the web!

I hope I didn't wrote about the same problem like somebody before me, but I couldn't find anything!

THX for help !
Lenjo

PS: I got Suse open 10.1

How are you trying to install the software? Go to the Suse pages and follow the instructions for setting up the repositories in Yast and then use Yast to get and install the software - it should be pretty straightforward from there.

All about Yast - it stands for Yet Another Setup Tool and is at the heart of Suse. Yast is the graphical tool that lets you do everything to your system.

Look in the System menu from the start button.
