My system is
Intel core2due(conroe) E6400
Motherboard - Intel DG965RY
RAM 512 MB(667 bus)
HDD 80GB SATA (Samsung)

I tried to install a lot of distribution of linux like Ubuntu 6.10,Ubuntu 6.06,Fedora core 5,Mandriva 2007 One CD version....
but failed to install.I got the problem similiar like that...

1. CDROM module not found (At ubuntu)
2. My sata HDD was not recognize by Fedora core 5
3. Mandriva didnot find the CDROM module..so it ask to locate the source at HDD or Network.

Now what should i do..?? Is there any distribution by which i will not get any problem during installation?:Pengy:

Hi..everyboday
At last i m using Linux with my system.I m using Mandriva2007 64bit edition.I first downloaded 4 iso file to my harddisk.and iso1(disk1) burned to the CD.after booting from the CD it may ask for the media which contain the source.then u can select from Hdd and browse ur ISO directory and from that the first ISO file...Thats it:-)

Thanks to all
