installation problem: screen freezes. Video card: trident cyberblade-i7

I´m totally new to linux. I recently downloaded the fedora core 4 distribution and i'm trying to install it. However, the anaconda installation program won't work in graphical mode. All I get is a grey screen. I could complete the installation in text mode, but when i reboot the system and try to load linux i get the same grey screen. I guess maybe linux doesn´t have the driver for my video card (which, by the way is trident cyberblade-i7). This surprises me since i thought this card was quite common. I really need suggestions.

Maybe you could finish the install in text mode, then boot up into level 3 ( init 3 ) . From there, I would do a yum update to see if any newer drivers and whatnot can help.
After the yum update, run the command as root user ( su - )
