Lightbulb installation problem regarding foxit reader pro in opensuse 11.1 by wine


the foxit reader pro v 3.0 build 1506 is not working in opensuse 11.1..the message like C:\Program Files\Foxit reader v3.0 build1506\Setup.exe..could not open file..File not found...

I tried it as root user and wine is installed correctly because other application is working well with it...kindly help men in this regards....

Have you checked winehq to see if anyone else is able to get that program working with wine?

Specifically: http://appdb.winehq.org/

The OP isn't using Ubuntu, but anyway there are LOTS of great Free/Open Source Linux native PDF readers.

Q: What happens if you simply double-click on the .pdf from your OpenSuse desktop? What's wrong with the default .pdf viewer; what won't it let you do that you need to do?

Whatever it is you need to do, there's probably an open source app that will let you do it.

IMHO .. PSM

PS:
For that matter, there's probably an easy solution for getting Foxit Reader installed under Wine. For example:

Heck - there's even a version of FoxIt Reader specifically for Linux:
