Installation Problem.
I was installing Suse 9.2. And was going good. I got done with the first disk and it asked if I wanted to reboot. "Becasue it came up in a menu. Well I did and now it doesnt work at all." It stops at the GNU Grub. I have tryed to go around it but cant. I have tryed making boot disk and it keeps giving me the error "Invalid or corrupt Kernel image."
Does anyone know what the problem could be.
I installed Dsl to see if it would work but that was after the attemp of suse. and everything worked fine with dsl.
So can anyone hlep with the suse problem?

it could mean that your data format is bad.
you really need to give us more details so we can help you.
umm... what do you mean by DSL? how much computing experience have you had? How were you attempting to install SuSe?

dsl=Damn Small Linux...Sry
I am using the floppy install. I will try to reformat al of the 3 disks. And test it out.
But It was running windows Xp Sp1. And Then I start the install of Suse 9.2. Everything was going good. Until I came to the next disk it said to reboot.
Then it all went down from there.
Then I tried a differnet linux. Dsl and installed it and with that everything went fine and is up and running right now.

so run with DSL if you don't have a problem with it...
unless you are one of the cursed people like me who have the desire to try it a different way...

HEY! don't leave us hanging. let us know what the problem was so that other people in future can find answers faster. (unless it was a really stupid mistake on your part, a "error occured between keyboard and chair" thing, then we won't press you. )
