Installation Problem
Sorry, is me again.
I encounter few problem while installing.
First of all, I got 5 partitions in my harddisk(HD onward).
I use partition magic format 2nd partition to ext3 and labelled it as "Linux FC2".
I use boot to install, at the beginning is ok.
Until Keyboard Configuration, i got a warning. That is:-
"Unable to align partition properly. This probably means that anoter partitioning tool generated an incorrect partition table, because it didn't have to correct BIOS gemetry. It is safe to ignore, but ignoring may cause (fixable) problems with some boot loaders."
So i jz click ignore, after that i use "Manually partition with Disk Druid".
After i selected the partition i formated to ext3, and click next.
The problem came out again. Thank is
"You have not defined a root partition(/), which is required for installation of Fedora Core to continue."
If someone know who to solve it, please kindly guild me. Thank you.

First partition (NTFS, Primary) - WindowXP
Second partition (EXT3, Primary) - Reserve for Linux Fedora Core 2
The rest all is NTFS and logically drive for s/w and personal files.

i mean when you go to the Manual Partition (druid) what does the tree look like...
hda1
hda2
hda3
hda4
hda5
what are each of those labled as... you might not have enough space to install fedora. you need 3 partitions for fedora alone. There is the "/" partition, thats where all the files are installed into, then there is the swap partition thats equivilent to windows virtual mem, and then the boot partition is for holding the files neccessary for bootup.
the boot partition should be about 100mb and the swap partition is up to you, anywhere from 200mb to 1 000mb. the / partition needs to be a few gigs for the actual fedora install and any applications you want to install.
how large is that one ext3 partition you made?
